Hi my name is Erika Glaubitz, I was Born and raised in Rosarito Beach, a small tourist town, near the San Diego/Tijuana International Border. My father is German American from Nebraska who became a Karate Champion in Mexico, who also studied Art in his school years, my mother is from Los Mochis Sinaloa, Mexico and she owned a pharmacy in Rosarito.
Growing up, I remember making clothes for my barbies on my mom's sewing machine, making crafts was a daily thing for me, when I was in junior high I took a welding class (yes they offer this class in school in mexico), I also worked at my mother's pharmacy, and to make extra money I would make craft's to sell there, hair accessories, gift baskets.
At 21 I decided to make the move to San Diego, CA. were I currently live with my Husband and children, I can say that I got the crafting bug BIG time when I was pregnant, I wanted to make everything I could, doll making, quilting, scrapbooking, painting, candle making, quilling, you name it I probably tried it, 8 years ago I started making Jewelry, and that's were my passion is, I love making one of kind, hand crafted Jewelry. I am self taught, I love learning new techniques and hope to some day be a full time jewelry designer.
